Synology USB Station 2

Synology is the place to go if you need to share a lot of data over a network.  The Synology USB Station 2 is fairly slow for its $150 price tag, unfortunately.  But, the full Synology NAS servers are fairly hard to understand if you are new to them, so that may be the one thing that the Synology USB Station 2 is good for.

The Good - An easy and quick way to make you external hard drives turn into network storage area, it does support USB drivers.  The device is very compact compared to others and has a nice web interface.

The Bad - It is very slow compared to its competitors, expensive, and limited to 2 USB devices at a time.

Overall - If you are looking for a stable entry-level USB station then the Synology USB Station 2, may be for you.  But, because of how slow it is, it will steer many people away.
