LG Vortex Review

If you happen to be a new smartphone user, then i might have a good phone for you.  The LG Vortex on Verizon Wireless is a very nice entry-level smartphone.  It has a wide-array of features including Android 2.2, WiFi, GPS, and a 3.2 Megapixel Camera.  The Vortex costs $79.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, and of course the 2-Year Agreement.  It does offer Bing Search and Bing Maps but in my opinion using Google Maps and Search would have been a better decision on Verizon's part.

The Good - Android 2.2, GPS, WiFi, 3G Mobile Hotspot, and an adequate touch-screen.

The Bad - It is a little slow compared to other smartphones, no Flash video, and it does not offer HD Video Capture.

Overall - the LG Vortex is a fairly good smartphone for those of you who are new to the Smartphone world.  If you have a little more money to spend or are not a new smartphone user, then i suggest looking elsewhere, such as the Droid Series.
